This masterpiece began as a vision that came to Rob while he was working in his acoustics studio one day in 2008. He saw a lagoon with surf breaking slowly nearby. In the water shimmering globes radiated waves of deeply soothing melodic sounds. That prompted him to assemble his recording gear and head out repeatedly over the next few months, searching the coast of New England for that surf sound he heard in his visionary experience. Then he mixed in those melodic sounds using his acoustical and musical abilities in the studio.
I was first introduced to Wavepool when it was still in its 'beta' version. I instantly fell in love with it as a sound that buoyed my shamanic transmutation work. I sent my feedback to Rob with the encouragement that he really 'go for it' and get this produced.

At long last someone has produced a tool to aide persons who are having struggles with the art of learning to do the shamanic journey, and/or who choose not to learn to journey but want to have the experience of exploring the lands of the Lower World, the Upper World and the Middle World.
Sandra Ingerman's voice is clear and resonant through this production and I found it easy to slip into the journey with her as a guide, despite my years of experience doing journeys on my own.
I highly recommend this CD for anyone who wants to review their journey process, go deeper in their own journey experience or who wants to explore, for the first time, the lands of the shaman. |

 Reading this provocative book is a lesson in humility. When Nan & David embarked on their study of the spirits of weather they had no idea what would ensue or the depths to which this work would take them and others who follow them on this journey.
Personally I was mystified by anyone would be interested in communicating with the spirits of weather until I began thiis study with Nan & David. It is without a doubt some of the most profound work I have done in my years of shamanic study and practice.
To try to cover the depth of this work in a review such as this is impossible. You must read it to even begin to "get it". After having completed your reading of the book, you will likely want to attend a Weather Shamanism workshop to explore this work more deeply. Fortunately, Nan & David do teach these workshops in Maine and around the country and hopefully you will have the good fortune to study with them.
There are also Weather Shamanism Drumming Circles available to participate in once you have succdessfully completed a weather shamanism workshop.
