A lot of shamanic healing work is done without physical contact with the client at all. However, there are some healing methods that are far more effective with physical contact. At The Center for Earth Light Healing, we never perform ceremonies or do healing work that require physical contact with the client without the explicit permission of that client. The client is always fully clothed. It is preferred that the client be wearing comfortable, loose clothing; you will be asked to remove your shoes for the healing.
