The Barn in Topsham

The Barn in Topsham, ME is the place we choose to teach most of our workshops. The space is warm, inviting, open and healing.

There are walking trails, a huge fire pit, and gorgeous hard wood floors. The space has a kitchenette so participants can have their meals on site with a stove for warming things and a small refrigerator for storing lunch items.

Ann Flannery is a fine woodworker who, with the help of friends, built The Barn in 1995. Here are some photos that tell part of the story of how glorious this space is to be in a circle of healing and learning.

How can it be possible that a simple Power Animal Retrieval can help a child relax, sleep better, and feel more empowered?

For centuries our ancestors (from all nations) have understood that the power of spirit added to the power of a living human being, equals more than two! When we actually bring the power of a helping spirit into this reality we add power to the recipient. And, when the recipient is a child, and is both interested and awed by this event, they allow the power to work through them.

As incredible as this may seem, it is spirit in action and something all we shamanic practitioners here in the 21st Century witness on a regular basis.
