SHAMANIC RETREAT: BORESTONE MOUNTAIN SANCTUARY
MAINE
JULY 22/25, 2010

for 3 days and 3 nights of immersion in the shamanic experience of being one with nature.
Borestone Mountain Sanctuary is owned and operated by the the Maine Audubon Society and is one of Maine's little-known hideaways on sacred land. I have rented the lodges and private space for these 3 days, and can accommodate 20 people maximum.
The private lodges are only accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicle followed by a short boat trip across one of the 2 lakes on which we will retreat. It is completely private, pristine, cared for with the utmost of respect, and it is the perfect place for a shamanic gathering. We will be greeted by an Audubon staff person who will shuttle us to our private lodging by jeep and then by boat, and the staff person will be available to orient us to the facility.
If you are from out of state...this is a perfect adjunct to vacation time in the beautiful State of Maine!!

Lodging is comfortable, but rustic, with all bedding supplied. We will prepare our own wholesome and scrumptious meals in the Dining Hall. I will do all the shopping and meal planning.
There will be a 'loosely' structured program which will include a couple of journeys each day on questions relating to the health of our planet and how we as shamanic practitioners can be of service to the spirits of nature and the Earth as a whole. We will perform several ceremonies on the lakes and have fire ceremonies each evening. Special discussion topics and 'shamanic games' will be a part of our mealtimes. There will be quiet time for solitary reflection, time to paint, draw, day-dream, canoe, kayak, swim, hike (solo or with the group), sing, drum, dance, and rest.
Retreat includes the following:
- 3 nights lodging (bedding included)
- 10 wholesome, hearty meals
- Transportation from the Visitors Center to the Lodges
- Use of all the facility's amenities including canoes & kayaks
- 3 days of a facilitated Shamanic Retreat Program with ample solitary time
- Shamanic Games, Ceremonies & Celebration
Pricing is as follows, per person:
A $120 deposit is due at registration, and the balance is due 30 days prior to the Retreat.
